Long, Jimmy Emerging Hope: A Strategy for Reaching Postmodern Generations Downers Grove: InterVarsity, 2003
In this updated edition of Long’s earlier Generating Hope we have a seasoned

Lyon, David Postmodernity Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 1999
Part of the Concepts in Social Thought series, Lyon’s work is often used
as a collegiate text. Lyon reveals how postmodernity not only calls into question
many of the key ideas of the modern world, but actually works to undermine
them. Lyon focuses on technology and consumerism as his primary windows into
the postmodern.

Veith, Gene Edward Postmodern Times: A Christian Guide to Contemporary Thought and Culture Wheaton: Crossway, 1994
This was one of the early, and still best, books on postmodern thought. Sane,
balanced; though over ten years old, it’s insights have stood the test
of time.
